I had planned on getting a flower from the backyard and using the photo tent, but when I turned on the outside light, I discovered this little guy! He then graciously modeled for me (guess he thought my vision was based on movement). His eye is very pretty.

I have some small multicolored beads that I wanted to photograph with the macro lens. But when I was focusing, it actually looked neater out of focus! I played with different f-stops too, but this was my favorite one (f/8) although it could be a bit brighter...

Ladybug on my shirt :)  I found him on the shrubbery (heehee) next to my car when I got home.  I was trying to move him to the sunny side, but he took a liking to my shirt.

My baby step into light painting, mainly just wanted to test it out.  Plus I'm tired tonight, so that was easy enough.  I need to get some different color led lights to have more fun :)

Bubbles! My dad had left some dishes soaking in a blue dishpan and the bubbles caught my eye.  I ended up having to use the tungsten white balance setting to get an accurate color.  And as my mom said (which I had been thinking) it also looks like tons of eyes staring at you.  Be careful, the bubbles are watching....

Lol, looked out into the back yard to find not only Bobby, Squit, and Pesto, but the Godpigeon too!

Squit: I just want to be a tough bird, like you, Pesto!
Pesto: What're you sayin'?
Squit: I said you're a tough bird, that's all.
Pesto: You sayin' that I'm an overdone piece of meat? Is that what you're sayin'? What am I, a plate of dried steak-butt meat, here to amuse you?
Squit: No, I didn't say that! I just mean you're tough.
Pesto: I'm tough?
Squit: Yeah, you're tough.
Pesto: That's it! Tough? I'll show you "tough"! You want "tough"? Here's your "tough"!

The setting sun cast a weird light on the trees in the backyard; it looked like the trees were painted orange and red. It didn't last very long, so I was only able to get a few quick shots.
